We all need help sometimes. And right now, we need yours.

Can you bring real change to some of the region’s most vulnerable people? Stepping Stone Projects provide accommodation and support for those at risk of homelessness across the north west of England.

Now, Stepping Stone needs some new trustees to invest two hours per month with us and help continue our transformative work.

We offer help, hope and housing to our customers. Everyone deserves a safe, happy and comfortable home - but not everyone has access to it.

Together we can continue to make that right.

Become a trustee

We know you’re busy. We know time is precious. But that time can be well spent as a Stepping Stone trustee.

We are looking for new voluntary trustees for an initial term of three years.

If you have integrity, sound judgement, a creative mind and a will to be challenged you could help us fight against homelessness and other complex needs in our area.

Currently we meet on the last Wednesday evening of each month at our Rochdale HQ and have up to two Trustee Away Days each year.

We need your wisdom, your advice, and your support. Are we fulfilling our charitable aims for the benefit of the public?

Could we be making use of our resources in a better way? Are we making the right decisions?

These are some of the questions you will be asked, and will be asking of us.
