For each vacancy you will see a brief description of the job and a more detailed role description and person specification. These are important documents and you will be required to refer to them when making your application.

People and Talent Manager (Salaries are reviewed annually and currently range from £32,739 to £37,499 per annum for 37.5 hours) – based at either our Rochdale or Atherton office with some home working.

The role reports to the Director of Resources and is responsible for leading the HR department. The postholder will help us to attract, recruit, develop and retain high quality staff whilst supporting our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.

The successful candidate must be able:

  • To lead on the delivery of Our People Strategy.
  • To lead on the development and delivery of the Learning and Development Strategy.
  • To lead on the development and delivery of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
  • To produce timely and accurate HR management reports to show key trends and identify areas to drive improvement.
  • To manage the day to day work of the HR Team.
  • To act as a member of the Senior Management Team working with senior colleagues to help deliver our Strategic and Corporate objectives.

The successful candidate must be CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) and have experience working within HR at a comparable level.

Policy and Assurance Manager (Salaries are reviewed annually and currently range from £32,739 to £37,499 per annum for 37.5 hours) – based at our Rochdale office with some home working.

The role reports to the Director of Resources and is a key position in the organisation working across all services to ensure that we provide the best possible service to all our customers.

The successful candidate must be able:

  • To undertake internal audit or quality reviews identifying and recommending areas of improvement.
  • To lead on development of appropriate policies and procedures.
  • To identify and introduce a quality management system.
  • To take a lead role in ensuring that health and safety policies and procedures are followed across the organisation.
  • To act as a member of the Senior Management Team working with senior colleagues to help deliver our Strategic and Corporate objectives.

The successful candidate must have experience of conducting internal audits or quality reviews and ideally should have experience working in any of the following fields: supported housing, housing advice work, youth and community work or work supporting homeless people.
