Trail Blazer Project

Stepping Stone Projects is delighted to confirm that our Trailblazer Project has been extended for another 12 months until April 2019.

The Trailblazer Project is a pilot project aimed at tackling youth homelessness by providing early intervention to prevent family breakdown before it reaches crisis point.

The project is a joint bid between the Pennine Lancashire authorities (Blackburn, Burnley, Rossendale, Pendle and Ribble Valley) and Lancashire County Council.

Stepping Stone Projects has been commissioned to provide the independent training unit, which is one of the five different elements of the overall project.

Training is offered to young people in two distinct ways, a 'trainer house' and 'Lifewise' group training sessions.
