Home to Home initiative with Dunelm

We are delighted to be working with Dunelm to launch an exciting new initiative called Home to Home. Dunelm will collect preloved homeware that we will offer to our customers enabling them to access small household items for free to help them make their house a home.

The project will recycle and reuse items that are no longer needed / wanted, reducing the amount of good quality items unnecessarily going to landfill.
Our customers will have the opportunity to access small household items for free. Items available will be: cookware, dinnerware, glassware, tableware, bakeware and home decor for example, picture frames and cushions. Items will be distributed to customers by SSP but will have previously been checked by Dunelm staff. During the initial phase, the scheme will not include electrical items, lighting, bedding and knives.
The Dunelm stores in Radcliffe, Bolton and Blackburn have all agreed to work in partnership with SSP and collect items on our behalf. These items will be delivered by Dunelm to our storage unit for customers to select in liaison with their support worker.
We are very excited to be part of this project as not only will it have a positive impact on the environment but it will also help our customers to make their house a home.
