Martin joined the SSP board in 2025 having worked in Social Housing for 36 years in a variety of roles.

Most recently he was Director of Development at a leading North West housing provider, leading on major regeneration projects across the region.

His development experience has also included complex joint ventures, market rent and sale schemes, low cost home ownership and a range of supported housing projects.

Martin is currently acting as an independent consultant supporting a number of charities and community led housing initiatives.
