Vice Chair

Nic’s career began in construction, but most of his working life has been spent at a senior level in Local Government managing front-line services. His long career has involved various roles across a number of different local authorities. Ultimately he became the managing director of a local authority trading company.

Since retiring from local government in 2013, Nic has established his own consultancy business supporting Local Government to find alternative, cost effective ways to deliver their services.

He also mentors and coaches senior managers in both public and private organisations.

Having joined SSP’s Board of Trustees in 2018, he is our Vice Chair and is also a member of the Risk and Compliance Sub-Committee.
