Two New Supported Accommodation Contracts Won in Lancashire

We're delighted to share some fantastic news: following a competitive tender process, Stepping Stone Projects has been awarded two new supported accommodation contracts for young people in Lancashire.

• Preston (10 units)
• Clitheroe (7 units)

Both services will join our growing portfolio of Ofsted-registered supported accommodation, launching in September 2026 under the management of Lindsey Wells.

This is a significant achievement for SSP. It increases the number of young people we're able to support, extends our reach across Lancashire, and reflects the continued confidence commissioners place in the quality of our services. Successes like this are built on the dedication, professionalism and commitment colleagues show every day, every positive outcome and every piece of support delivered helps strengthen our reputation and demonstrates what SSP can offer.

The properties are owned by Places for People, with whom we already have a strong relationship, and we look forward to working closely with them through mobilisation. There's plenty of work ahead over the coming weeks, including welcoming new colleagues through the TUPE process and preparing both services for a successful launch.
