Covid-19 (Coronavirus) update for customers

As a management team we have met to plan for the next likely phases of the coronavirus outbreak. Our main priority and aim is to keep colleagues and customers as safe as possible whilst trying to maintain essential services.
This week all colleagues will be concentrating their efforts on contacting all of our customers (ideally by phone or digitally and only if there is no other way by home visits) to check on their welfare and needs, check we have their latest contact details, advise them on coronavirus and what to do and advise them on how we will be working remotely over the coming weeks.
All customers will be given a letter containing information about the virus following the advice issued by the Government and the NHS - the letter can also be found here.
Over the next few weeks the vast majority of advice will be provided via the phone or digitally, many of our staff will be working from home where possible and will attempt to contact each of their customers on a daily basis to check on their welfare and provide advice as necessary. Whilst at this stage our offices are likely to remain open, this will be on a reduced staffing basis to provide telephone advice and the offices will not be open for visits from customers or anyone from external agencies or partners unless by appointment.
