Michaela Orr

Trustee

Michaela was a customer of SSP from 2005-2007, having experienced homelessness at such a young age and benefited from our support she brings lived experience to the board.

With support from SSP, Michaela went on to university and graduated with a 2:1 in BA Honors International Hospitality Management.

She then worked in hospitality for several years before starting a family of her own, at this point she had a career change and spent 5 years in Financial Services for a building society. More recently Michaela has moved back into hospitality on a part time basis to allow a better work-life balance. This allows Michaela to be able commit time to Stepping Stones Projects as a trustee which means the world to her.
