Liz Varey

Liz joined Stepping stone projects in 2023 as Assistant Director of Operations. Liz leads the team of Operations Managers responsible for delivering high quality and trauma informed support and accommodation across all of our adult services.

Liz has over 20 years experience in the homelessness sector having previously worked for a Rochdale based housing charity and the Greater Manchester Housing First pilot. Liz is passionate about creating opportunities for people to grow and succeed and has a particular interest in embedding co production, supporting gender informed approaches and promoting system change that empowers people to use their unique skills and experiences to create positive change across the sector.
