ROCDHALE FLOATING SUPPORT |
The Stepping Stone Project offers Floating Support Services in several different areas to people between the ages of 16 and 65. The aim is to provide housing related support to help people to manage their tenancy.
Some of the issues we can help with are:
- Budgeting and managing money.
- Accessing specialist services.
- Accompanying service users to appointments.
- Helping service users to understand their Tenancy Agreement and their rights and responsibilities.
|
We offer support to people in Local Authority, Housing Association and private rented accommodation; we can also support owner-occupiers. In some circumstances we can offer help before people move into their tenancy.
The Floating Support Scheme encourages service users to take responsibility for their own problem solving, and to give them the skills and knowledge needed to live independently in their home.
Each person who is accepted on to the Floating Support Scheme has his or her own Support Worker. Floating Support staff are available Monday to Friday, and work with service users around their specific needs. Service users are given set appointments but can contact staff by telephone regarding any issues they may have at other times.
Service users have a plan of support, which is reviewed on a regular basis. The Support Plan is followed until the service users are ready to live independently.
We are currently accepting referrals, to download a referral/self referral form please click here.
This Floating support project provides support to enable vulnerable people with a variety of needs to manage their own tenancies.
