We are currently recruiting for the following job vacancy which is a temporary post until 30 September 2018 to cover an internal secondment. The post Is with our Male Only and Complex Needs Services in Rochdale and the successful applicant will be based at one of the two sites, though the post-holder will be required to work at both locations on a regular basis.

Services Co-ordinator (Rochdale Accommodation Services)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week .The core hours are 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional changes in hours to accommodate the needs of the service in ensuring extended cover 8am-8pm.
Salary – £29,001-32,173 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

We require a dynamic individual who is highly motivated and committed to meet the needs of those who are at risk of homelessness. This is a challenging but rewarding role working with hard to reach clients who may have failed to access appropriate services in the past.

The successful applicant will:

• Assist the Rochdale Operations Manager in delivering the services, with specific responsibility for co-ordinating allocations, arranging staff rotas to ensure 24 hour cover at grouped accommodation sites, and supervising a team of Night and Weekend Support staff

• Provide direct support to a small number of high needs/high risk clients.

• Take the lead in in reviewing needs and risk assessments for general referrals carried out by Resettlement Workers, for carrying out initial needs and risk assessments for high need/high risk clients, and recommending allocations decisions to the Operations Manager.

• Assist the Operations Manager in ensuring that void periods for managed properties are kept to a minimum, in accordance with service targets, and that properties are promptly allocated.
